Google allows you to set up autoforwarding in a couple different ways. In this article we'll cover both of them and how you might leverage them with your Maple Family Email.

Please note — this process MUST be done on your computer.

Mandatory Step 1 - Creating and verifying a forwarding email address.

The easiest way to do this is by accessing your Gmail account on your Computer.

Once logged in, you'll want to go to Settings and then select Forwarding and POP/IMAP.

You'll then want to select Add a forwarding address (as seen above) and then enter your Maple Family Email address in the box that appears next (as seen below).

You'll then be asked to confirm you've input. Google will send you an email to your Maple Inbox and you'll need to hit the confirmation link.

Once everything is confirmed, you'll have a confirmed forwarding email address that is associated with your Gmail account. You now have a couple different options as to how you want to set up forwarding between Gmail and Maple.

Option #1 - Automatically forwarding ALL emails to Maple Inbox

If you are in a situation where you want every email that comes through a specific Gmail account to be autoforwarded into Maple you'll want to follow these steps.

From Gmail, head to Settings and then select Forwarding and POP/IMAP.

You should see any and all Forwarding addresses associated with your account.

You'll then tick the little bubble that reads "forward a copy of incoming Mail" be sure to use the drop-down menus to select your Maple family email (as seen below).
